Over the past 12 months we have been increasing our staffing levels and introducing a new Vet team. Recruitment is not an easy process but we are really excited that we have been able to bring a fantastic team of likeminded Vets to the practice. With a total of over 60 years experience between them, they have varying interests and skills which complement one another well. Our newest recruit, Stuart Campbell is an experienced surgeon with a post graduate qualification in anaesthesia and a keen interest in ultrasonography and radiology. Emma Orton, who joined us in February, is interested in medicine ( feline in particular) and has nearly completed a post graduate qualification in advanced veterinary practice. Sherry Carlisle, who has worked for us as a locum in the past, is working part time- she is a keen surgeon who also does emergency work at our out-of-hours provider, VetsNow. Bill Bowler continues to lead the team with his special interest of all things Endoscopy.
We have a highly dedicated and experienced team of nurses consisting of 2 fully qualified nurses (Tracey and David), and a team of four trainee nurses (Laura, Daisy, Chloe and Claire).
Susan and Jo form our friendly and helpful receptionist team. Susan is the first point of contact for any Puppy Plan enquires and any dog training issues
Moon Bear Billy
Our chosen charity is Animals Asia. We continually raise money to help support our sponsored rescued Moon Bear Billy. Animals Asia rescued Billy from his life of torture as a captured bile bear - he was rehabilitated and released into Animals Asia's Chengdu sanctury where he lives a life of 'bear' luxury.
