Staff Changes

09 Feb 2014

Eve Partrick passed her final exams with flying colours in September 2013 and is now a Registered Veterinary Nurse.

Veterinary nursing is now a regulated profession with their own council and disciplinary committee under the umbrella of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.

Over the years we have had an unusually high percentage of qualified nursing staff; briefly this was 100% again but sadly Nicola Heath left in October to move to London.

As part of our long term commitment to staff training we have recruited two new trainee nurses.  Both have previous experience of working in veterinary practice and have rapidly settled in as a result.  Laura Nemeth has started her day-release training in January and Daisy Hickman will follow in her footsteps in September.  Both will undertake a 2.5 year training course to achieve a City and Guilds level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.  We wish them all the very best in their training.
